The Numbers are in for International Walk & Roll to School Day!

The Numbers are in for International Walk & Roll to School Day!

More than 120 schools across Alameda County have been celebrating International Walk & Roll to School Day throughout the month of October. Of the students tallied, a whopping 80% arrived at school via green modes: walking, biking, scooting, skateboarding, carpooling, or taking the bus! That translates to over 16,400 students walking or rolling and another 3,600 carpooling or taking transit!

Keep the momentum going by preparing for the next two Countywide events – the Golden Sneaker Contest (March 2-13, 2015) and Bike to School Day (May 14, 2015)! Over 80 schools have already registered!
