IWR2SD is Finally Here!

IWR2SD is Finally Here!

Today, hundreds of students walked & rolled to school to celebrate International Walk & Roll to School Day 2014. Many will be marking up mode charts to indicate which mode they took to get to school and getting fun incentive items for their participation in the program. About 150 students and parents participated in a Walking School Bus at Achieve Academy in Oakland (pictured). And new bike racks were put to good use at Frederiksen Elementary School in Dublin where the Assistant Principal Mognaga saw a record-number of parked bicycles.

Over 50 schools are registered to celebrate International Walk & Roll to School Day this year in Alameda County. View the latest photos on Facebook and Twitter, and learn which schools are registered by visiting our International Walk & Roll to School Day page!
