Youth for the Environment and Sustainability Conference, Oakland

Youth for the Environment and Sustainability Conference, Oakland

On Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 10 am to 4 pm, join students from around the San Francisco Bay Area to discuss transportation issues, learn how their decisions can impact climate change, and share ways of encouraging others to walk, bike, take transit, or carpool to school. Watch this video to learn more about the 2013 YES conference. This year, one of Alameda County Safe Routes to Schools’ very own, Alissa Kronovet, will be a workshop presenter. There will be free shuttles from the North Bay and the South Bay available for students without easy access to public transit. Check the STAY website for shuttle information. There is still time to register, so get on board and we’ll see you there!
